About Our Hospital

Kindred Hospital San Francisco Bay Area is a 99-bed, regional referral center specializing in the management of medically complex, resource-intensive patients who require extended stays. We serve all of northern and central California and are recognized as a center of excellence in the treatment of this medically fragile patient group.

As an acute care hospital fully accredited by The Joint Commission, Kindred Hospital San Francisco Bay Area delivers nearly all levels of care, including full-service intensive care. While our reputation is rooted in the innovative management of ventilator-dependent individuals, all acutely ill patients will be considered for admission regardless of their prognoses.

Kindred Hospital also has a comprehensive inpatient wound care program for patients requiring extensive treatment interactions. Kindred’s expertise is in resolving the needs of this complex patient group through our multidisciplinary approach to medicine.
